Muslims Slaughter African Christians on Palm Sunday in Nigeria, and the World Averts its Eyes.

The African Jihad keeps spreading apace, while human rights groups in the West keep ignoring the slaughter and enslavement of Africa’s Christians. 

CBN, the Christian Broadcasting Network recently reported that on Palm Sunday April 13th, at least 40 people were killed by Muslim gunmen in an attack on a Christian farming community in north-central Nigeria on Palm Sunday. This marks yet another in the continuous murderous assaults on Christians by armed jihadist Muslims in Africa.

Open Doors International – a Christian organization supporting persecuted Christian communities – told CBN that this latest attack “brings the death toll to around 113 people who have been killed in an ongoing spate of attacks in Plateau State since the end of March.” Open Doors says that “Muslim Fulani militants have attacked at least eight communities, destroying more than 300 homes and displacing 3,000 people.”

 

These types of assaults have become increasingly common in this region, where clashes between predominantly Muslim Fulani herders and Christian farmers over land and water have intensified. 

CBN says that “the situation in Nigeria remains increasingly dangerous for Christians. Overall, more than 16,000 Christians were reportedly killed in Nigeria between 2019 and 2023 based on data by the Observatory for Religious Freedom in Africa.”

Americans remain mostly oblivious. Jeff King, president of International Christian Concern told CBN that "Most Americans have no idea what's going on in Nigeria, but imagine this: for the last 20 years, probably up to about 100,000 Christians have been murdered," "Three-and-a-half million Christians, their lands have been taken from them, and the government's pretty much done nothing."

These reports are horrifying, but as horrifying is how the West, most especially the human rights community in the West, keeps a willful blind eye to jihad assaults. Meanwhile, it must be noted that the same human rights group are heavily focused on criticizing Israel, the Jewish state under jihad assault. Can it be that the human rights community has made fateful choice? Could it be that it has realized, even subconsciously that coming to the aid of black Africans under jihad assault would mean that its focused condemnation of Israel would suffer, so it prioritizes condemnation of Israel over defending Africans assaulted by jihad? I believe that it the human rights community told the truth about the jihad in Africa, it would be clear to almost everyone that the Hamas assault on the Jews of Israel is part of the same globalized ideological assault on infidels everywhere. It seems clear then that human rights leaders are choosing to betray the blacks in order to attack the Jews – and keep their intersectional Muslim partners happy. 

This betrayal is a double sin. Abandon the blacks and slander the Jews. For Shame.
