Much of the world is focused on the Israel-Arab war in Gaza, and yet a very similar conflict is taking place across the African continent, and about that there is silence. Yet the two are intimately connected. In Gaza, the Islamic extremists who want to eliminate non-Muslims, in this case, Jews, are called Hamas. But Hamas is part of a global network of jihadists who believe and are committed to conquering the world for Allah – by any means necessary. They want to create a Caliphate, a region run according to Sharia Law.

So in Israel the global jihad is run by Hamas, but in Nigeria the local Calefators are called Boko Haram and Fulani. In Cameroon, they go by the initials ISWAP, the Islamic State in West African Province. In Somalia, they are Ash Shabab. In Sudan they are called the RSF, the Rapid Support Forces. In Burkina Faso, it’s the more well known Al Queda. And so forth. You get the idea.
